  I wish I could rate this a 4 or 5, but my first impression is that this new library feels like a “temporary” one. It has rolling shelves for the books as if waiting to be moved somewhere or as if someone thru it together quickly. While it is very clean and has some new high technology, it feels a bit clinical, not comfortable nor quite welcoming. No staff greeted us at any time. There are many chairs and tables, but most of them were too high to sit comfortably to study or read for long hours. The only exception to this was the two study rooms where you could sit at a table to read or study. But my guess is that you have to reserve those or share with a stranger. I know that they are just getting started so hopefully as they go along, it becomes a more friendly and warm place to meet new people, study or read. At this point, I don’t think I will be coming back until I hear of some possible modifications. I am sorry, but I still miss the Wright Library that is truly on the east side with its location being close to the college and high schools in the area. This library is too far from that hub of activity. Perhaps local elementary school students and parents on that side of Hill Rd will utilize it more.
